Can be used to spark discussion on life propsects and priorities (note that there are sometimes different outcomes for men and women), on the social dynamics of palmistry, or on early modern beliefs about how the body was expressive of God’s providential plan. Students usually find it entertaining to have their own violent deaths predicted…!
